Lyceum Lecture Series:
Connection through Storytelling.
Our own Maggie Lott and Tobey Ishii Anderson will be at the Centralia College Lyceum Lecture Series on February 26 at 1pm in Washington Hall room 103. The link above shows more information including a list of all the other lectures in the series.
Maggie and Tobey are enthusiastic and experienced storytellers who will be sharing both folktales and personal stories, to explain the value of the oral art of storytelling. They will share stories from different cultures around the world and personal stories of their own lives. They will demonstrate how stories reveal human nature, the values of a community, and how stories, both old and modern, reveal our common bonds. Lott and Anderson are both members of the South Sound Story Guild in Olympia.
