Healing Storytelling Alliance

The Healing Storytelling Alliance web site has stories with a discussion page for these stories, a bibliography (which will soon be sorted through a database by topic as well as by author), past newsletters and we hope to begin posting stories for people to use in the current crisis for support.

The Story People of Clallam County 

The Story People of Clallam County is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, organized in 1992 to promote the art of storytelling on the Olympic Peninsula.

 

The Story People believe that stories are an invaluable treasure of every culture because they represent and pass along the collective folklore and wisdom of the ages.

Portland Storytellers' Guild

The Portland Storytellers' Guild serves the Portland, Oregon Metro area.


Our goal is to bring together and nurture people who tell, listen to, and love stories by elevating the art and power of
storytelling in all its forms into our daily lives.

Seattle Storyteller's Guild 

The Seattle Storytellers Guild, founded in 1982, is a nonprofit organization of tellers and story enthusiasts who actively promote the art of storytelling for adults as well as children. The guild provides a forum for traditional storytelling, sponsors professional events, and provides performance and training opportunities for tellers at all levels. Our membership includes professional storytellers, writers, folklorists, traditional storytellers, oral historians, speakers, musicians, elders, ministers, health professionals, librarians, and teachers. We welcome storytellers of all levels and interests.
